I would like to start by saying thank you to all of our loyal customers and to welcome all of our new clients to our pet resorts. For over 10 years, it has been our privilege to serve the greater Portland area, as well as all Mainers, even folks from out of state and Canada. I can’t say enough about my staff, most of which have put in many years of tireless dedication to our furry friends. We have a great team and I’m very proud of them.
We are really excited about the new changes taking place around here – everything from remodeling to grooming specials, pick-ups and drop-offs, events, special promotions, modified hours, and much more. We are looking forward to a great year.
With this tough economy, I understand how hard it is to spoil our pets. We are still the most affordable (dog & cat) boarding and doggy day care facility in Cumberland County, as well as the first to offer two locations. Most importantly, we are committed to keeping our prices down!
That being said, we appreciate all of the Maine companies and their employees who have participated in our corporate discount programs. We will continue to offer those discounts. Also, we would like to thank our servicemen and women for keeping our pets and us safe. Our military discounts will always be available for you.
I’ve seen many changes in our industry over the last decade, but I can assure you that these things will never change: our dedication to your pets needs, our customer service and friendly staff, our facility design, our flexible hours and, foremost, our desire to exceed your expectations.
I understand you have many choices in pet care these days, which is why I would encourage all dog and cat owners to shop around. Then, come into the Doggie Cottage and tour our facility. I am confident that our pet resorts will be your pet’s first choice for their vacation destination.
Sincerely,
Owner: Sean Kelley with Owen, at the Gray facility |
Gray
Phil LaFlamme
I have always had a passion for animals. Family, friends, even strangers have told me how well dogs respond to me. I realized years ago I needed a career change to better my life as well as my family. Coming to the Doggie Cottage has been a rewarding experience for which I am happy to have followed my heart. As Manager of the Gray Doggie Cottage and living on site, I continue providing a facility and location where dogs can play, board and just be a dog. Dogs are part of our families. No matter what kind of day you have had, when you arrive home, your pet is always there to greet you with a smile. My commitment to each and every customer is to give them the same love and care they would receive at home.
Socialization for your pet is beneficial to their growth and development. A tired dog is a happy dog. You will see, as you drive up Bull Run, your pet's excitement and happiness. Its funny, but I can hear dogs arriving as they are pulling up the driveway. This puts a smile on my face. Several times a week you will find updated photos on our Facebook page. I want each owner to see how their pet is doing during every visit. This provides an opportunity to see how they play and interact with other dogs.
If you are visiting our site for the first time and reading this, please take a moment to view my facebook page on the link under "Gray". If you are looking for a daycare or boarding facility for your pet, please give me a call. I would enjoy the opportunity to speak with you and give you and your pet a tour. Our location here in Gray is very unique. We are near a dairy and equestrian farm. We are situated over 5 acres of beautiful country land with great views as you approach our facility. I know you will find us to be a great place for your pet to grow, play and enjoy being a dog. |
